Here's how it works:
✂️ Flexible Folder and Item Structure
In Plannerly, your WBS is built using a folder and row structure:
Create as many folders as you need to reflect your project's hierarchy
Group rows of elements or items within each folder
Optionally, keep items in a flat structure without groups—it's entirely up to you!
🔖 Classification, Subtitles, and Entity Types
Each folder or item in your WBS can have:
A Classification Code
A Subtitle
An assigned Entity Type (e.g. Space, System, Object, etc.)
You can choose whether the classification codes are independent per level, or set the project setting to concatenate codes down the hierarchy—automatically combining parent and child codes for traceability.
🔧 Built-in + Custom Classification Systems
Plannerly includes out-of-the-box support for multiple international classification systems, such as:
Uniclass, Uniformat, NRM, Revit Categories
Region-specific systems from: France, China, Finland, Portugal, Norway, Nigeria, Netherlands, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Indonesia, Canada (French), Mexico, Argentina, and multiple variants of Spanish
Need your own custom classification? No problem. Add and reuse your own classification structures across any project.
📅 Plan Requirements Over Time with Milestones
Once your WBS is built, you can plan each item over project milestones using the Scope grid:
Each row = an item from your WBS
Each column = a milestone (with a name, description, start and end date)
Each cell = the planning space to define:
Start and end dates
Checklists
Task descriptions
Required information
Attachments
Assigned team & team member
Status (customizable: e.g., Agreed, In Progress, Complete, Verified)
♻️ Reusability Across Projects
You don't have to start from scratch every time. In Plannerly:
Every WBS folder/item/classification you create is reusable
Just drag and drop parts or whole structures into other projects
With Plannerly's Scope module, you get a smart, standardized, and scalable WBS system—ready to align your teams and simplify your BIM and project planning workflows.
