How to copy tasks in Scope
Copying tasks between cells helps you standardize scope data quickly. Instead of recreating information manually, you can reuse existing content while choosing exactly which fields to carry over.
Steps to copy tasks
- Select the cell you want to copy from
Hover over the cell in your Scope table and click the copy icon that appears. - Choose what to copy
A menu will appear showing available fields such as Information Requirements, Checklists, Documents, Responsibility, and more.- If a field has content, it will be automatically selected.
- You can manually toggle fields on or off depending on what you want to carry over.
- Paste into any cell
Click on the destination cell, whether filled or empty, then choose to paste the copied content.
Why this is useful
- Saves time when setting up similar tasks across multiple rows.
- Reduces data entry errors.
- Gives you full control over what information is included in the copied data.
