Uploading BIM Models as a Student or University

Can students, professors or universities upload their own BIM models in Plannerly? Here's what Free for Education, Free and Pro include.

Contents

Free for Education (universities)

  • All Free for Education accounts include access to demo projects and example models.

  • These example models are the same for everyone and help demonstrate how Plannerly works.

  • Important: Free and Free for Education accounts - whether for students, professors, or entire universities - do not include uploading your own BIM models.

Uploading Your Own Models

Uploading and processing your own BIM models is part of Pro, which includes AI and model processing. Upload your first model from a Free account and we'll offer you a 14-day Pro trial - no card needed. See what each plan includes on the pricing page.

Universities, consultants and training providers can also join the Plannerly Certified Partner Program.

If You’re a Student

  • If your university is not set up yet, ask your professor to register the class for Free for Education: plannerly.com/how-to-teach-iso-19650

  • In the meantime, a Free account gives you access to Plannerly for learning and class activities.

If You’re a Professor or Program Leader

Tip: Free and Free for Education accounts work with the demo and example models. To move on to your own models, start a 14-day Pro trial, or talk to us about the Partner Program.
