๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Step 1: Create a Work Package

  1. Head over to the Scope module.

  2. Use filters to focus on the exact group of tasks you want to schedule. You can filter by:

    • ๐ŸŽฏ Milestones

    • ๐Ÿ“‚ Task folders

    • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Teams

  3. Examples:
  • Filter by a specific discipline scope, such as Architectural, Structural, or MEP Coordination.

  • Or create a package for non-element task groups, like Project Tasks or your MIDP Scope.

  • Once youโ€™ve applied the right filters, save them as a Work Package ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ. This gives you a reusable โ€œbundleโ€ of tasks you can manage and schedule together.

๐Ÿ“Š Step 2: Switch to the Timeline

  1. Select the Work Package you just created.

  2. Switch over to the Timeline view ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ.

    • The timeline will now only show the scopes, tasks, or milestones included in that Work Package.

โณ Step 3: Schedule and Adjust

  • Drag the start and end dates directly on the timeline โฌ…๏ธโžก๏ธ.

  • Set dependencies by grabbing one node and connecting it to another ๐Ÿ”—.

  • This makes it easy to control task order and keep your project on track.

๐Ÿ“ค Export Options

When youโ€™re finished scheduling, you can share or take your data into other tools:

  1. ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Export to PDF โ€” Share a clean snapshot of your schedule with your team or stakeholders.

  2. ๐Ÿ“Š Export to Excel โ€” Take your data into other platforms if you want to continue scheduling or reporting there.

๐Ÿ’ก Why This Method Rocks

By using Work Packages, you can schedule scopes like Arch Coordination or MIDP separately. This keeps your timeline clean ๐Ÿงน, organized ๐Ÿ“‹, and focused ๐Ÿ” on what matters most.
