Removing a document, category or section in Docs archives it, with its hierarchy and content, so you can bring it back whenever you need it. Only content you delete permanently is gone for good.
When you archive a document (a tab) or a section in Docs, Plannerly keeps it, so you can restore it at any time.
Restore an archived document or section
- Open the Docs module and choose Filters.
- Switch on Show archived sections. Archived sections appear in the Archived Sections panel at the top of the document, and archived documents show with the other tabs.
- Open the archived section's or document's three-dot menu and choose Restore. It goes back where it was, with its hierarchy.
Only editors can show archived sections. See archive and restore document sections and tabs for more.
If it was deleted permanently
Delete permanently can't be undone, which is why Plannerly asks you to confirm it twice. If you exported the document before, you can still recover its contents by converting the exported PDF to Word format and re-importing it into Plannerly using the Import from Word feature in the Docs module.
How to re-import an exported document
- Open File Manager.
- Click the File Options (three dots) button on the far right of the document and select Create .docx.
- Open the Docs module and select the Add New tab.
- Select Import Word Doc to re-create the document.
Tip If you need assistance, our team is happy to walk you through the import process step-by-step.
